PLACEBO
- A harmless pill prescribed more for the psychological benefit to the patient than for any physiological effect.
- Something of no intrinsic remedial value that is used to appease or reassure another.



Usage / Examples :
- Are Sleeping Aids Effective or Just A Placebo Effect?
- The reason for these other trials being positive was the placebo effect.
- Placebo effect alone can work for some.
